I heard this quote paraphrased this past Sunday by my good friend Phil Mc Kinney. There's a lot of truth to this statement. I've heard it said that every end is a new beginning. I've also heard it said that once you've hit rock bottom there is no where to go but up. I suppose all of those are true but truly hitting rock bottom affords us the opportunity to rebuild ourselves in healthy ways. If you're hitting "rock bottom" reach out for help. Begin building a foundation that will last. We are creatures of comfort and when we feel discomfort we are prone to want to get out of it as soon as we can. Sometimes there is a lesson to be learned in our discomfort. Don't miss out on the lesson and growth that can occur from hitting rock bottom.
